So I got a new job, which is great, but it also means I have less free time.  Hence less blogging.  But the Tucson Festival of Books is coming along nicely, and set for March 13-14.  I’ve been doing the science fiction, fantasy, horror, and graphic novel programming.  As promised, here is the list of authors my team and I have have managed to schedule for panels, workshops, and signings at the Festival:

Marta Acosta

Dave Baker

Elizabeth Bear

Leah Bobet

Laurie Brooks

Terry Brooks

Emma Bull

Charles de Lint

Amanda Downum

Eric Esquivel

Alice Hoffman

Nina Kiriki Hoffman

Jane Lindskold

Jeff Mariotte

Dennis McKiernan

Esther Mitchell

Seth Muller

Yvonne Navarro

Weston Ochse

Will Shetterly

Janni Lee Simner

Jeanne Stein

Joan D. Vinge

John Vornholt

Cynthia Ward

Catherine Wells

Susan Yarina

Timothy Zahn

Though many people will be attending the Festival for the books and authors, there will also be a lot of other things going on, including food, stage shows, and crafts for kids.  The Tucson Festival of Books is a fundraiser to support literacy efforts in southern Arizona, so the money is going towards helping people learn to read.  If you aren’t going, I highly recommend you change your mind.  It’s going to be awesome, and admission is completely free!

  1. That’s a great line-up, and I’m proud to be in such exalted company! And among some good friends, too…

  2. Will you be able to wander by the MG booth and say “hello?”

I hope so! Not sure if I’m going to have a lot of on-site duties yet or not…
